Daryl Custer is an independent photographer who’s work has been published in such prestigious publications as the National Geographic Book, ” Indian Nations of North America”, New Mexico Magazine, Cowboys and Indians Magazine to mention a few. He is an international award winning photographer through (IRMA) International Regional Magazine Association, August – 2009 (IRMA) Winner Bronze – Single Photo “timeless Ceremonial”. Daryl is currently based in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is the Director of Photography for the Gallup Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial and The Director of Photography for the Albuquerque Film & Music Experience (AFME) he has been shooting professionally for more than 20 years and has traveled the world capturing all aspects of life His passion for photography, people and life shows in his work. Daryl’s photojournalism approach to shooting to shooting brings a unique story telling quality to his images. “I love movement, color and expression that is why I chose New Mexico as my home base”. With the Spanish and Native American influences one cannot help but be inspired. “My goal is to capture these unique expressions in my work….lasting a lifetime”.
